Sale proceeds benefit the McCracken County Public Library collection development and services. Special edition books will be priced individually. DVDs and audiobooks will be offered for $1.00 each. Hardback and trade paperback books will be offered for $2.00 and regular paperback books for 50 cents. Over 15,000 books and audiovisual materials will be available for purchase at the Friends of the McCracken County Public Library Summer and Winter sales. Our programs are well attended by the public most of the time, so unfortunately we are not able to accomodate school groups at these programs. Publicized programs are for children with their families. These visits may consist of a tour, basic library instruction, and a story. To ensure a meaningful experience, these visits are arranged by appointment with the Head of Youth Services, who will determine the size of the group in consultation with the teacher.
